Group Music Classes

Preschool Music Time (Ages 3-5) - Tuition $57 per month
Our fun, highly active preschool music program is designed to teach children ages 3-5 the basics of music in an interactive, group environment. The classes are 30 minutes once a week and limited to 8 children per class. The classes are full of singing, moving, playing rhythm instruments and games. The main components of the preschool program are:
• Rhythm
• Melody
• Elementary note and notation recognition
• Discovering movement and music
• Learning to sing and listen
• Making music with percussion instruments

Intro To Music (ages 5-6) - Tuition $57 per month.
The Introduction to Music Program is a group class for children ages 5-6, limited to 8 per class. This class is designed as an enrichment class to strengthen their desire to learn music. The classes are 30 minutes, once a week and are an extension of the preschool music program. Children need to either be 5 or 6, or have completed Preschool Music Times in order to go into this class. Classes include musical concepts through singing a variety of children’s songs including folk songs, popular songs and songs from Broadway musicals. Elementary note reading, time value of notes, dynamics, keyboard introduction, music history, rhythm development and more will be introduced.

Junior Glee Club (ages 6-7) - Tuition $57 per month.
Junior Glee is for children ages 6-7 who are often just developing their reading (word) skills. In this age group the material is geared to their level using a variety of children’s songs including folk songs, popular songs, and songs from Broadway musicals. Elementary note reading, time value of notes, keyboard introduction in addition to the basics of proper breathing technique and singing will be taught. The classes are 30 minutes once a week and limited to 8 children per class.

Senior Glee Club (ages 8-12) - Tuition $57 per month.
Senior Glee is for children ages 8-12. This fun-filled class will include a variety of songs including popular songs, folk songs, and songs from Broadway musicals. Elementary note reading, time value of notes, keyboard introduction in addition to the basics of proper breathing technique and singing will be taught. The classes are 30 minutes once a week and limited to 8 children per class.

Beginning Violin Class “Pizzicato Players” (ages 5-7) - Tuition $67 per month.
Our Pizzicato Players will work in a small group setting to learn the basics of playing the violin. Proper technique, elementary note reading, dynamics and time value of notes will be introduced. The classes are 30 minutes once a week and limited to 4 children per class.

Music, Mommy & Me (Ages 2-3) - Tuition $57 per month
Our fun, interactive class with mommy and child is designed to introduce young children to music. The classes are 30 minutes once a week.
